On my way to Georgetown last Saturday I came across this wonderful installation, along Wilson Boulevard in Rosslyn. Not to miss if you're in town this spring. About 130 community volunteer knitters
and crocheters from the Washington, DC area met at Artisphere for five months on Wednesday nights to
create individual pieces for this yarn bomb. The installation
includes more than 1,000 stitched geometric shapes and native Virginia
Celebrating its 10th year, Georgetown, DC's Annual French Market
drew thousands of fashionistas, home design enthusiasts, foodies and
families to play at the neighborhood's unique, outdoor European-style
market last weekend.

last Wednesday, so I grabbed my camera
and spent the whole morning
walking around the Tidal Basin
enjoying this beautiful scenery that only
happens once a year.
The weather was perfect too!!
