saturday snow

We were dusted by the storm on Saturday. In our area it was only wet snow, but it was really cold!
The last time that a significant amount of snow fell on the Washington, DC region in October was 1979, according to the weather service.

Saturday afternoon

Yesterday we spent the day in Middleburg and even though it was not a winter wonderland, there was some snow on the ground.
