a long week

well, it has been a long week...

many disappointments...
from trying to migrate this little blog {in a friendly way} to Wordpress which took many, many hours with no positive results, to seeing some of my designs and techniques blatantly copied in Bolivia.
I guess that by having a blog and a website I am exposed to these kind of things.
It is a risk we take when blogging and "facebooking". Very upsetting, but nothing a good stretch on the mat can't fix.

on the positive side...
In a few weeks I will finally have a Fournier online shop. This time I will be part of a group of wonderful designers. More soon!

Anyway, here's to a good weekend. Hope you all have a wonderful one! We will be enjoying the great weather here {in the 70's today}, and the Presidents Day sales.

  1. I hope more good things happen soon. It's my biggest fear trying to move my blog to wordpress. I just can't risk losing everything!

  3. Oh Anabel, so sorry to hear about the copy cats. It is however, the best form of compliment isn't it? I'm super excited about your Fournier online shop! Finally, finally, I will be able to make my Fournier purchases soon. : ) As for the copycats..they will never be the same as yours. Don't let those setbacks ruin your weekend. Good luck with WordPress, though porqué?
Have a wonderful weekend Anabel.. hope to catch you sometime in between. : )

  5. Good luck with all your endeavors. Copycats come to those who actually have something worthwhile....just keep two steps ahead and eventually you'll leave them behind.

  6. I hope things get better! I've also just found a local copycat - not exactly the same, not close enough to take any action, but still close enough that people think her items are mine.... It does hurt.

  8. Thank for your words and good vibes coming my way. It is indeed a headache, especially when it comes from people you have even helped and guided in the past, but like Chatale says "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
